It’s that time of year when we dust off our best clothes and head to town, to celebrate as a team and see who has scooped the coveted prizes this year! Following 2020’s uncertainty, it was a welcome relief to not have to carry out this year’s on zoom – instead, we were hosted at the Strand Bar, Cheltenham.
A well-attended event and a chance for all the players to get together for a few laughs, catch up, and maybe a few drinks; It was the awards that dominated the evening. Club chairman Raines Williams took the opportunity to thank all of the Barracudas for their support over the last 12 months, and especially members of the committee namely Ailine Fischer & Laura Garlic for their efforts in organising the event. The talk soon turned to the awards where last year’s winners were invited to receive their awards in person (not over zoom) and then present it to this year’s winners.
